Hi everyone! 👋 I specialize in MERN Stack development and have experience building dynamic, responsive, and scalable web applications. I also work with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to containerize, orchestrate, and automate production-ready deployments. Currently, I'm expanding into Artificial Intelligence to integrate intelligent, data-driven features into real-world software systems. Beyond tech, I enjoy taking on responsibility and leadership roles I'm the Google Developer Groups (GDG) Pune Representative, and an alumnus of the McKinsey Forward Program, where I strengthened my skills in problem-solving, adaptive thinking, and professional growth. I'm always open to collaborations, internships, and learning opportunities in: 🔗 Portfolio: https://ganeshpatil7517.github.io/ganeshpatil.portfolio/ |

Hi everyone, I’m Khaleed, a 3rd-year Software Engineering student and a passionate Backend Software Engineer with experience in Python, Django, Django REST Framework (DRF) and Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA). I am really interested in joining this community and contribute to the projects. I have already started exploring the VulnerableCode repository to understand the data models, importers and to better undertsand the architecture of the project. I am currently setting up my local environment and looking for issues to make my first contribution. Looking forward to learn and contribute! |

Hi everyone, I’m Shashank (IST). I’m a CS student and I’ve been contributing to open source for a while (fixing issues, raising PRs, handling reviews). I’m preparing for GSoC 2026 and want to contribute to AboutCode, mainly ScanCode Toolkit — especially license rules/expressions and package formats (with tests). I’m setting up locally today and will open a PR soon. Thanks! |

Hello everyone I have been exploring the AboutCode ecosystem and going through the GSoC project ideas and repositories over the past few days. The projects around vulnerability analysis and package intelligence are particularly interesting. I am currently studying the architecture of VulnerableCode and ScanCode to better understand the data processing pipeline and how vulnerability data is collected and structured. I’m planning to start contributing by exploring open issues and would appreciate any pointers to areas where contributors can begin or issues that could use help. Looking forward to contributing and learning from the community! |

Hello everyone I’m a B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering student, and I’m excited to start contributing to the AboutCode organization as I prepare for GSoC 2026. I’m comfortable working with Python and Django and enjoy building web applications with a strong backend and clean, intuitive UI/UX. I’m particularly interested in areas like file-system navigation, hierarchical data handling, and developer-focused tools. Over the past few days, I’ve been exploring the ScanCode.io repository and its documentation to understand the project structure and workflow. The idea of improving how users navigate scan results, especially by introducing a directory tree view for scanned projects, seems like a useful enhancement for exploring large scan outputs. I’ve already set up the project locally and started working on a few issues to get familiar with the codebase and contribution process. Looking forward to learning more about the system and contributing where I can. If there are any beginner-friendly issues or areas where contributors are currently needed, I’d really appreciate the guidance. Thanks! |
