Description

Focus the 'Go to Page' box.
Tested with the shortcut: Ctrl+Alt+G. [This shortcut was conflicting with Google Drive, so I had to disable it in Google Drive first].

Thanks! It works great, but for me only on the first PDF open; if I open two or more, it only works on the first one I opened. (If I close the first, then it works on the second, but on the third, etc). (Using Zotero 8.0.3, on Linux).

Indeed the first script moves the page so that the new page is the one displayed. (Of course, if the page number is out of range, nothing happens). But what I mean is that, after one enters the page number and hits Return, the cursor and focus remain in the "Go to page" box. To get focus on the PDF page itself I'd need to, for example, hit escape to get to focus the actual PDF itself.

In the second script, in contrast, if one enters a valid page number and hits Return, focus (and cursor) are not left on the "Go to page" box, but are moved to the PDF page. (I think this is the usual behavior of most PDF viewers, and the one that fits my use case best).

I can reproduce now.
I have moved your code to the top.

The only thing missing now is the ability of the shortcut to work even when the 'Go to Page' box is already focused.
The expected behaviour is that it should select all, in the same way as when repeating the Ctrl+F in the PDF Reader.
But I could not get that to work, so it may be a limitation of the Actions & Tags plugin.

Ah, you are right. I hadn't noticed. I took a couple of stabs at fixing it, but wasn't successful.

It seems that it was simple typo that broke the shortcut, so hopefully the PR proposed (zotero/reader#186) will fix this issue soon:
