Hi there! My name is Thomas Popham (He/Him)

I’m a postgraduate in MSc. Computer Science (June 2023) from Teesside University and I'm currently looking to get my foot in the door in software development. I currently work with web and mobile front-end development (Android Compose, React/React Native and Flutter), back-end development (.NET, Node.js and Microsoft Azure), and 3D animation rigging and rendering (Blender and Unreal Engine).

My ultimate career goal is to develop educational games/immersive software for young children based on impactful academic research and to make a positive difference to their educational development and pedagogy. I have been inspired by the work created by companies such as Xploro, BrainSpark Games, Augment Therapy and Mrs Wordsmith, whose innovation to supporting children and young adults in their health and education fuels my drive to build novel solutions that give them the best possible start to life.
