About Me

Bioengineer and PhD candidate in Biochemical Sciences at Instituto de Biotecnología, UNAM, with hands-on expertise in upstream bioprocessing, mammalian cell culture (CHO), and biopharmaceutical process development. I combine bench work with computational tools to drive data-informed decisions in bioprocess optimization.

My work spans from fed-batch and perfusion bioreactor operation to building end-to-end data pipelines, analytical dashboards, and laboratory automation tools — bridging the gap between wet-lab science and software engineering.

  • 🔬 Bioprocess Development — CHO cell culture optimization for recombinant protein production in fed-batch and perfusion bioreactors
  • 📊 Data Science — Python-based pipelines for bioprocess data analysis, statistical modeling, and visualization
  • ⚙️ Lab Automation — Tools for process monitoring, control strategy design, and analytical workflows
  • 🧬 Therapeutic Proteins & Cell Therapy — Research on CAR-T cell processes and metabolic engineering strategies
  • 🤝 Open to roles in biopharma, bioprocess data science, process analytical technology (PAT), and upstream R&D
