These grammar files are actually pulled in from the repo you linked to (https://github.com/microsoft/TypeScript-TmLanguage) Please submit the fix against that repo and it will be picked up by VS Code |

An issue in this repo was originally linked to, but then it was moved to microsoft/TypeScript-TmLanguage#986. I actually opened a PR fixing the issue there at the same time you posted the comment! See microsoft/TypeScript-TmLanguage#987. |
